So far so good! Three days of school down, way to many to count left. He seems to really like school so far. His only complaints are that he has to sit down ALL day, be quiet, and sit cross legged at circle time. These sound like a typical problem for any active young boy. But, he's already made three friends and come home with two smiley faces on his hand (which means he was very well behaved).
Today we started practice with the school's cross country team. I volunteered to help, so every morning from 8-9am we are both running around the playground. It seems to be a great way to start off the day especially with all that sitting they have to do.
We have also been riding our bikes to school every day. It's only about a five minute ride and I can pull Evie and Isaac in the trailer while Josiah rides his bike. I'm hoping the weather will cooperate for us to do this for quite a while.
Evie and Isaac are content staying home with me and playing with each other. Most of the playing goes like this....Evie tells Isaac what to do and then he does it. The End. But, every so often Isaac won't follow her commands and Evie gets really mad. Doesn't that sound like fun? I think Isaac usually likes having all of Evie's attention, even if he's being told what to do. I'll be getting them involved in story time at the library and maybe an art program that's offered close by.

That does sound like Evie, and good for Isaac putting his foot down once in awhile.
