It's a nature based program and last week they learned about ice and experimented with melting. This project was a follow up to that lesson which focused on freezing. Josiah got to participate in since he was home from school on Monday. We collected leaves and berries from around the yard and neighborhood, put them in a pie plate, added water and a string, and then let them sit outside over night. It was very easy and lots of fun!

COOL COLD DAY PROJECT-I PREDICT MY GRANDCHILDREN WILL BE SCIENTISTS, FOREST RANGERS, VETS , ARCTIC EXPLORERS AND BEAR WRESTLERS(AMONG OTHER THINGS) GO JILL!
Thanks for commenting on my blog, Jill. I was wondering how you all were doing with only one bathroom. While we house-shopped we had 2 baths at the top of our list, or at least room to add one. It didn't help at our last house that our one bathroom was the worlds smallest, and the toilet didn't like to work all the time ;)
There is a co-op preschool here, but they still charge money! not as much as some others, but still more than Im willing to pay. Sheesh!
