10 things

1. Knitting again.
I'm working on a pair of felted slippers. Felting is basically knitting with pure wool and then "shrinking" in in the washing machine. I'm looking forward to knitting my way through the cold weather again.

2. The leaves falling. Eve always says "Look, fall!"
3. The way Isaac says "Cookie" much better than any 16 month old should
4. The awe of having THREE kids!
5. Josiah proudly showing me his work every day after school!
5. Cooking
6. Morning walks (that keep getting colder and colder)
7. Garden planning for next year. I hope I'm not being too ambitious with two garden spaces
8. Planting four fruit trees this fall.
9. Canning. We've got a cupboard full of applesauce this year.
10. Enjoying the present

Love it! That applesauce looks like fun! I plan on starting knitting again soon, too... maybe!

wow, that's a lot of apples! We appreciated Bens phone call, it's good to keep in touch with you guys. Hey, speaking of knitting, do you ever think of knitting like Christmas stockings? We're on the search for some classic looking sock-type Christmas stockings.

Kit, I have thought about christmas stockings. They should be pretty simple and easy to find a pattern.

if you find any good patterns, let me know. we might be interested in buying some from you! I have looked on the internet some but mostly I find silly looking ones, old people stuff, etc.
