Josiah had his first day of school today! It was just an open house so we went and met his teacher, fiddled around in his classroom for a while, and set up a place to meet after school. I think I am more nervous than he is! I can hardly believe we're in this next phase of "school age". After that we went for Ice Cream to celebrate.
His teacher's name is Mrs. Dorrington. She seems excellent and has a great reputation. This is her 29th year of teaching at the same school! He was most excited about the Library (surprise, surprise) because "he can look at all the cool books in there".
Of course, I forgot my camera, so I don't have that great first day of school photo, but maybe I'll remember on Friday which is his first full day.
