We took our first trip to the lake last weekend and actually got to swim in it a little (although it was quite cold). Evie fell asleep on the raft while the waves rocked her and Isaac spent a lot of time eating graham crackers, his latest favorite food.
The waves were pretty big, and it was fun to see how each of kids handled it. Josiah squealed and immediately lay down on his belly and let the waves crash into him. Eve watched and then put her feet in, and Isaac clutched my arm for dear life. This is kind of how it usually goes for these three.

what a lovely summer day for an enchanting family! You are an astute mother to be observant and notice the nuances in the personalities of your children. It will be fun to see how each changes and develops--- suchHAPPY children-YEA!!!!
