playing in the snow

If you can't beat 'em join 'em. That's about all I have to say about the 3 new inches of snow on the ground and the below zero temperatures we are having (it is -2 this morning). So I am trying to learn from my children and simply enjoy it for what it is. The funny thing is, if it never turned into spring or summer they would still be perfectly content with winter all the time.

Isaac had so much fun just sitting in the snow, pushing it around with his mitten covered hand, and "talking" about it. Josiah loves the fresh powder and Evie missed the whole thing while she slept inside.

I actually had the experience of not being able to get out of my driveway the other day. I had the kids dressed and ready to go and I went out to start the car. I opened the garage door only to see a four foot drift across my driveway! So, we just went back inside.....
