Kindergarten Graduation

Yesterday was Josiah's last day of school! Wow, I can't believe it's over, it seems like he just started. Check out the post from his first day! I love in his drawings how he somehow grew a body over the course of the year. The drawing on the right is a picture of him holding his friend's hand. School was such a fun thing for him, and as the picture shows the social aspect of it was the best part. His friends became a very big part of his life. I'm a little worried about how I will fill that gap this summer, but also hoping some of the negative aspects of those relationships will fade.
We did a little celebrating with this yummy cobbler.... ....and a little gift. The cobbler recipe can be found here, but I used rhubarb instead of blackberries. It is quickly becoming my new favorite dessert since it's so simple and easy yet soooooo yummy! Although, just a warning, the amount of sugar in it is a little scary.
