Holland Lake has become our favorite camping spot, but apparently lots of other people feel the same way. So we've learned to go in the off season and this year we began and ended the camping season here. The weather could not have been better and most of our neighbors stayed in their RV's so it was very quiet and peaceful. We spent a lot of time on the lake catching frogs, dragon flies, and crawdad's. We also had a few beautiful canoe rides.
Ben has recently learned he is allergic to Yellow Jackets and was stung as we were packing up on Sunday. His hand is still very swollen and he just started taking some pills to stop it. He'll probably have to get an Eppi-pen just to be safe.
This will probably be the last camping trip of the season, but I counted six of them this summer, so I think we made the most of the summer.

Haha--you guys and your camping!!! Always camping. I just asked Chris "What is it with camping?" He said "When there's no fishing? I don't know." You guys are going to have some great, outdoor loving kids!
My kids, on the other hand just want to go shopping and have frappocinos!!!
Can't pick a favorite pic - each is better than the others
Six campouts this summer, that's very impressive!
